The beginnings of TokoLausanne
We are Emil and Mike, and we created TokoLausanne in 2024 after a trip to Indonesia, Mike's father's country of origin. Based in Lausanne, we have set up a space where we display our items. Some pieces, like the manta rays, are designed and presented by us. We also offer custom bronze engraving. Our values
Recycled metals
Our bronzes are made from recycled pipes and other metal parts. Our artisans melt these materials at very high temperatures to transform them into a new raw material, which we then use for our sculptures. Because bronze mining is environmentally unfriendly and labor-intensive, we prioritize reuse over extraction.
